Nancy's POV:
As I slowly trodded down the endless tunnel with Isis at my heels, I couldn't help but feel apprehensive.I mean, who wouldn't when they're walking down a seemingly endless tunnel with a wolf following them, making you think you've lost your mind? But I kept going. About half an hour later I came to a door that looked centuries old. There was no handle, so I pushed.
"It's Locked!" I said, stating the obvious, which I had a really bad habit of doing. Only then did I see the 4 circular slots right in the middle of the door, with an inscription above them.
If you want to pass through this door, find the 4 things I treasured above all else.
I thought about it, the quite suddenly, I got it. "The 4 coins!" I yelled triumphantly. I put them in their respective slots, and the door opened. I went through and gazed around. Inside was stack after stack of boxes clearly marked:
Warning!Explosives!Handle with Extreme caution!!
In the corner there was an ancient cot next to a half-rotted chair, with a backpack sitting on top of it."UC, this must be Lou's backpack, but how did it get in here? Is he the culprit, or did somebody steal it and plant it here hoping to frame him?" I questioned myself. Then, I heard a growl behind me. I turned around just in time to see her sprint through another door at the opposite end of the room. Strange, that wasn't there before I thought.
I followed with extreme caution. Suddenly, a gunshot was heard. Not even caring about my safety, I scrambled the rest of the way and looked around. The passageway led to right outside Trapper Dan's Needle.
I saw a snowmobile, Ollie and his gun next to it, and Isis about 20 feet away from me, whimpering and holding her left paw slightly off the ground. I shouted at him, "Ollie, you fool! Isis is TAME!!! Leave her alone!!"
Only then did he see me. "What are you talking about? I got the wolf! And who is Isis?"
"Isis is that wolf you just shot, and she was helping me! So you just leave her alone, okay?" Before he could answer, an explosion rippled through the air.
"BOOM!!!!" "What was that?" I asked, afraid to find out. His only answer was to hop on his snowmobile, and he motioned for me to do the same. Isis followed us, limping slightly as we set off. When we finally got back to the lodge......
