If only love was blind, We wouldn't have to see The lying face of the human race, Which distracts the real me. It wouldn't have to matter, If we were short, fat, tall or thin. We could decide on the face inside, Based on the feelings within. Personality is stronger than image, But the face always wins. It's such a shame, that we're all the same, And we ignore all the pain it brings. But what I really hate, Is how we ignore all the depairs. Some people will cry, and will themselves to die, Yet when they do, no one really cares. I know you can't help who you love, But some people just take a place. We don't care, so long as they're spare, And they've got a pretty face. I wish the sun would realise, And shine down its eternal light. Blind our eyes, but leave our insides, To finally know wrong from right.
